Privacy Policy

SwingersGuides is operated by Dalocom (the Netherlands). This policy explains what personal data we collect when you use swingersguides.com and the SwingersGuides iOS app, why we use it, and the rights you have under the GDPR.
1. What we collect
Account details (email, password hash), the profile you fill in (name, age, gender, bio, interests, city, photos), your activity in the app (likes, messages, RSVPs, photo requests, reports), device push tokens, and technical data such as app version and crash logs.
2. Why we use it
To run the service: showing your profile to other members, delivering messages and notifications, managing events and subscriptions, keeping the community safe through moderation, and improving the app. We do not sell your data.
3. Photos and moderation
Uploaded photos are checked automatically for explicit content and may be reviewed by our moderation team. Private photos are only visible to members you have approved. Flagged photos can be blurred or removed.
4. Who can see what
Public profile fields are visible to signed-in members. Your email, phone number and exact location are never shown to other members; only the distance to you is. You control visibility with the Privacy settings (public profile, who can message you, online status, incognito).
5. Service providers
We use Supabase (hosting and database, EU region), Vercel (website hosting), Apple (payments and push notifications), Stripe (payments on the website), RevenueCat (subscription management) and an image-moderation provider. They process data on our behalf under data-processing agreements.
6. Retention
Your data is kept while your account exists. Deactivating hides your profile but keeps your data; deleting your account removes your profile, photos, messages and activity permanently within 30 days, except where we must keep records by law (for example payment records or abuse reports).
7. Your rights (GDPR)
You have the right to access, correct, export and delete your personal data, to object to processing and to withdraw consent. Use Profile > Privacy > Download My Data for an export, or contact us. You may also complain to the Dutch Data Protection Authority (Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens).
8. Security
Data is encrypted in transit and at rest. Access to personal data is restricted to staff who need it for support and moderation. Report security concerns to support@swingersguides.com.
9. Children
SwingersGuides is strictly for adults. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 18 and remove such accounts when found.
10. Changes
We will notify you in the app or by email when this policy changes in a meaningful way.
